LOBAKA Picha pairs one screening with several synchronized audio tracks that the audience listens to on their phones.
Available as a pilot, on the Sasa infrastructure: one track per channel, a recorded track played and aligned from the operator's station, live audio description. Automatic synchronization with the picture does not exist yet. No pilot screening has taken place yet.
Who runs the picture?
Picha is designed for two situations.
Screening run by LOBAKA
LOBAKA streams the video and the audio tracks. For an institutional screening, a museum room, a hotel.
External screening
The cinema keeps its own projection system. LOBAKA provides the audio experiences, locked to the picture.
Wherever something is screened to a mixed audience.
Synchronization is still to be built.
